Your responsibilities
You will be pursuing a doctorate as part of the institute's own doctoral program.

The dissertation will be carried out at the interface of research project work and independent scientific work with a strong focus on current issues in applied sustainability research.

The dissertation project is located within the research area of structural change and innovation in the department of future energy and industrial systems.

Here, solutions are developed for a sustainable structural change in industrial regions.

The focus of the work is on strengthening the understanding of technological, societal, political, and economic interactions in the transformation towards sustainable economic structures and innovation dynamics.

Your dissertation project is also part of the hyBit research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), in which a consortium of the University of Bremen and 16 other research institutions, companies, and authorities is envisioning the development of a North-West German hydrogen economy.
