Job Overview:


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated male caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individual with dementia As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence.


Duties:


  • Provide direct care and support to clients in their home.
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up

Experience:


  • Previous experience in social work, dementia care, or home care is preferred
  • At least one year of college completed
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with memory care practices is crucial
  • First aid certification is desired
  • Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license is required

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
