Qualified applicants must have experience working as a Traffic Controller Leader.
Applicants must have experience working on Heavy Civil & Roadway Projects with 3 to 4 years of experience and MOT advanced certification.
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller Leader to oversee traffic flow and ensure the safety of workers and the public at construction sites.
Duties:
- Direct traffic at construction sites to ensure safety and efficient flow
- Communicate with construction workers and equipment operators to coordinate movements
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures as needed
- Assist in utility locating and paving operations as required
- Collaborating with team members and superviror to ensure the safety of all
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required Proficient in traffic control procedures and regulations
- Ability to build and dismantle traffic control setups efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of safety protocols for construction sites
- Ability to stand for 812 hours and lift 4050 lbs.
- Must be able to pass preemployment drug test
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
