Intelligence Planner - Joint Cyber Defense Center


Intelligence Support and Coordination

Position Overview:
Responsibilities:

Establish and Maintain Relationships: Collaborate with relevant intelligence community partners to ensure input into JCDC joint cyber defense plans and priority areas.

Collaboration with Analysts: Work closely with intelligence analysts and targeting organizations involved in related areas.

Identification of Intelligence Requirements: Support the identification and submission of Key Intelligence Questions, Priority Intelligence Requirements, and Collection Requirements aligned with JCDC priorities.

Threat Monitoring: Monitor emerging cyber threats and changes to the threat environment.

Intelligence Integration: Analyze and integrate cyber threat intelligence from industry partners into planning processes.

Planning Support: Receive and review planning guidance, determine intelligence needs, and facilitate intelligence support in collaboration with relevant IC partners.

Analysis and Integration: Identify, analyze, and integrate cyber threat intelligence into core planning team activities, including scenario development, plan objectives, and response to requests for information.

Meeting Support: Attend and support regular planning meetings, respond to ad hoc requests, and maintain RFI tools for timely responses.

    lassification Support: Assist in verifying classification of cyber defense plans and associated intelligence, and work to downgrade products as needed.

Briefing Preparation: Develop intelligence annexes, appendices, and briefings for JCDC leadership, Senior Advisory Council, and external partners as required.

Process Development: Develop frameworks, processes, and procedures for intelligence support and coordination within JCDC.

Communication and Coordination: Support communication and coordination with internal and external partners.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and track action items. Prepare briefing materials for senior leadership and partners.

Effectiveness Measurement: Measure effectiveness of intelligence support and provide recommendations for improvement as required.

Program Management: Support program management functions related to compartmented intelligence programs aligned with JCDC objectives

Sector Integration: Develop methodologies for incorporating private sector cyber threat intelligence into JCDC support.

Analytic Exchanges: Coordinate and conduct analytic exchanges with USG IC partners to develop collaborative concepts and support for JCDC operational activities.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in intelligence planning and collaboration with cyber operations planners.
  • Proficiency in intelligence analysis and integration
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience working with intelligence community partners.
  • Knowledge of cyber threat landscape and industry intelligence sources.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
