Description
Private and well-established Preschool in San Francisco is seeking Full time Teachers for Toddler or Preschool classes.We are looking for a reliable, energetic preschool teacher with a positive and friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to multi-task.
Other requirements include:
Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required:
- Bilingual in English/Mandarin is preferred, but not necessary
- 2 year+ experience working with children and family services
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education and intervention
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and willing to change diapers.
Education:
- Official Transcripts displaying twelve ECE units completed
- First Aid and CPR certified (or ability to enroll in the training to obtain or renew certification)
- CBC (Livescan, will also be completed through our facility)
- Previous experience working in a preschool classroom
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, fellow staff, and children
- Experience using positive discipline techniques with young children such as modeling appropriate behaviors, positive redirection, and teaching conflict resolution skills
Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
