Pass Christian is looking for a highly motivated software developer (m/f/d) to join our development team at our locations in Weinstadt and Cologne.

Our solutions and controls play a crucial role in the automotive industry, ensuring efficient processes in car factories and safe transportation on trains.

As a software developer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of embedded systems, with a focus on Linux platforms.

Your tasks will include maintaining and improving our in-house Linux distribution based on Yocto, adapting the generic Yocto image to new products, and collaborating with the development team to integrate security requirements into the development process.

We are looking for candidates with a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, as well as experience in embedded systems development and extensive knowledge of Linux platforms.

Knowledge of security standards and experience in identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities in Linux-based systems is also required. Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python is necessary, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills. Experience in embedded system security is a plus.
