Crab Boat Seafood & Bar is looking for a part-time/ full time cashier to assist in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant.
The cashier's responsibilities include taking food orders, answering the phone, packing togo orders, processing payments, and maintaining the appearance of the front register area.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with cash handling and working in a customer-service oriented position in the food service industry.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with cash handling preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to work well as a member of a team
Job Type:
Part-time
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Restaurant type:
- Casual dining restaurant
Shift:
- Evening shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Basic math: 1 year (preferred)
