Your Job
You are an absolute IT crack and know exactly which buttons to press to keep our network running. You take care of our existing transport network as well as new locations and network elements.
Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our existing transport network (aggregation and distribution layer (MPLS core)).
- You take care of the preparation, support, and coordination of activations and commissioning of new locations and network elements (transport network and PoPs).
- You independently plan and implement projects based on technical requirements.
- You test new devices and designs in a laboratory environment.
- You handle 3rd level troubleshooting, support, and assistance for on-call duty.
- You are responsible for firewalling and lawful interception.
- You create and update documentation.
- You work with external service providers, manufacturers, ISPs, and other departments such as security and sales.
Your Profile
- You have completed training/studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification.
- You have professional experience in the enterprise or service provider environment (ISP). You also have knowledge in routing, switching, and extensive knowledge of protocols and technologies such as OSPF, MPLS, LDP, VPLS, BFD, QoS,
