Sanitation Operator 1st and 2nd Shift - Anaheim, United States - Harris Spice

Description

• Clean and Sanitize processing equipment using hot water, pressure washers, chemical solutions, and other tools.
• Moves processing equipment using PIT such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
• Reading and following instructions thoroughly.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of equipment cleaned and chemicals used.
• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks and walkie stackers to move materials and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift and at the end of the shift.
• Follow all SOP's and food safety standards. Perform all tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
• Communicate daily with Production Management.

• This position reports to Production Manager and shift supervisor.
• This position has no direct reports but may assist in training coworkers and/or covering absences.

• GED or High School Diploma
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Good attention to detail; communication, accuracy and thoroughness is a must.
• Ability to work with others in a fastpaced team environment.
• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting for 8 hours a day the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Working in a warehouse environment within hot and cold temperatures.
• Flexibility for overtime when required.
• Ability to read and write English, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Able to drive and operate PIT (Forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). Licensed Forklift driver preferred.
