We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and Qualifications:
As a Therapy Technician, you will assist the licensed Physical/Occupational Therapists and/or licensed Physical/Occupational Therapist Assistants in select phases of patient treatment.
- You will set up therapy treatment and assist therapists with patient care.
- You will treat patients in an appropriate manner according to their age, developmental age, educational needs, and family/guardian expectations as related to the patient's diagnosis.
- You will monitor the department inventory, including patient supplies, linen, office supplies and copied materials, and notify appropriate personnel when any need to be replenished.
- You will clean and maintain equipment, including returning equipment to appropriate location after treatments, removal of dirty linen and disposal of any debris.
What qualifications you will need:
Experience
- Successful completion of an onthejob training program
- Experience in physical therapy preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
