Long term substitute Technology or Art Education


School:
Newtown High School


Starting Date:
August 26, November 15, 2024

Remuneration:
$107 per day for the first 30 days then Bachelor step 1-$265.63 per
diem.

  • Qualifications: Must hold Connecticut Teaching Certificate in Technology or Art
  • Have high motivation and task orientation
  • Have superior instructional skills, with a commitment to
interdisciplinary instruction- Ability to use alternate means of assessment for students

  • Responsibilities: Provide instruction to photography and film classes.
  • Instruct students in filming, photographing, and editing
  • Manage students in independent and group work
  • Organize technical aspects of curriculum
  • To work as a department member and a member of a faculty
  • To consult with teachers, administrators, staff and parents on a
continuing basis- To carry out all facets of the teacher job description consistently
