Description
Organize, facilitate, and deliver training programs for new and existing employees in the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain global knowledge of company systems as they relate to procedures and workflow
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they reflect operational updates and change.
  • Assist training manager to coordinate and train associates on systems, processes and procedures.
  • Develop, edit and maintain additional learning materials such as manuals, presentations, guides, handouts, videos, eLearning, job aids, etc. as necessary
  • Maintain employee training records
  • Evaluates and modifies existing or proposed programs; suggests and implements suitable changes.
  • Performs other related duties, as required

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in teaching, communication or a related field
  • Must be located near the Chicago showroom
  • 24 years relevant professional level experience in a training environment.
  • Proven experience effectively communicating in a clear and concise method to groups of employees, public speaking, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Prior experience in the luxury, interior design, lighting or home furnishing industries a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must exhibit proficient computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • High degree of competence with POS systems, experience with SalesPad a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communicator
  • Ability to effectively present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong relationship building and management skills, excellent customer service skills
  • Selfstarter who works with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an ongoing commitment to achieving highquality results
  • Superior organization, planning skills, time management and prioritization with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a dynamic, team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as business needs may sometimes dictate
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as business needs require
