Must have professional climbing and rigging experience in the tree/timber industry.
*This is
not a groundsman position*Applicants should be able to provide references, own your own personal climbing equipment and have reliable transportation.

We are a full service tree and land company and are seeking on bring on an additional experienced climber/trimmer/sawyer for residential and commercial tree removal and trimming work in north Houston and Montgomery County areas.

Compensation:

Depending on the role we hire you for, we are open to negotiating hourly or day rate compensation that is competitive with the local market and reflective of your experience.

We are open to a Part Time (W-2) or Independent Contractor role.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in climbing and rigging within the tree/timber industry.
• Proficiency in climbing techniques, spiking, and trimming.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in chainsaw operations.
• Familiarity with various tree species, growth patterns, and pruning methods.
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and equipment used in tree care.

Responsibilities:

• Safely climb and rig trees for removal and trimming projects.
• Conduct precise trimming and pruning to maintain tree health and aesthetics.
• Identify and remove hazardous branches to ensure safety.
• Assess tree health and provide recommendations for treatment or removal.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including chainsaws, pole saws, and wood chippers.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of work areas postcompletion.

Hiring Details:

• Background check required, including a clean driving record.
• Must work well in a team, showing a positive attitude.
• Previous experience as a crew lead or foreman is a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to follow direction and adjust to project changes.
