Description
- Performs a variety of professional duties required to support the social and mental health of early childhood students.
Qualifications
Required:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in education or a social services field.
- Two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience related to education, social work, or psychology.
- Knowledge of early childhood development, family dynamics, crisis intervention, mental health issues, family involvement strategies, and volunteer initiatives.
- Knowledge of the FCPS organization, mission, rules, and regulations.
- Knowledge of community resources and federal, state, and local laws pertaining to child and substance abuse, neglect, and domestic violence.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Salary Range
- $68,138 - $115,949
