- Perform tasks following all safety protocols, rules and regulations as defined by local, state, federal, company and customer specific guidelines to support JEI "Target Zero" safety goal
- Complete all training and certifications as assigned and maintain current certifications as needed
- Operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum excavation, hydro-blasters, pressure washers, forklift, etc.
- Utilize personal protective equipment that can include: disposable or reusable coveralls, raingear, gloves, hardhats, safety glasses or goggles, chemical-resistant clothing, face shields, hearing protection, and respirators (half and full-face).
- Maintaining a clean work area, including vehicles
- Driving company equipment to customer locations
- Complete daily time sheets and job cards with equipment used completely and in a timely manner
- Perform safe equipment checks, preventative maintenance, trouble-shoot and assist with repair when requested
- Follow procedures for each job and each piece of equipment
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical/drug test and background check. (As this is a Safety Sensitive position- THC will be part of the pre-employment testing).
- Valid driver's license and good driving record strongly preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or railroad setting an asset

We also service derailments and other activities associated with railroad operations. Entry level Technicians perform a variety of tasks associated with industrial cleaning, railroad, and agricultural operations. In this highly safety sensitive role, you will learn to operate a wide variety of equipment in an extremely varied environments at our many customer locations. As we often work mill shutdowns and provide incident response, this position is can be on-call and often requires long hours and travel (usually limited to the PNW). Travel expenses, such as hotel and a daily per-diem, are employer paid.
