Position Summary
:
This position will be responsible for supporting the execution of the overall audit process in support of Innoflight's Quality Management System (QMS).
Other responsibilities will include departmental training, conducting audits, and being able to drive resolutions as directed by the Quality policies and procedures.
This position requires a high amount of accountability to be an effective Quality Specialist.Duties and Responsibilities
:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operation programs and objectives.
- Responsible for tracking status of audits: scheduling, reporting progress, ensuring action items are appropriately assigned and actively being worked, etc.
- Assist in planning audits to include securing conference rooms, completing visitor request forms, coordinating with internal employees and outside entities.
- Organize, compile, and prepare reports and metrics used to present to management.
- Review End Item Data Packages (EIDPs) for product assembly and testing.
- Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Provide valueadded improvements by streamlining the EIDP review process.
- Support processes to sustain AS9003 compliance and obtain AS9100 certification.
- Work closely with all levels of management to help ensure internal processes provide results that are in compliance with external standards and contractual requirements.
- Work with Quality management to continuously enhance the audit process efficiency and efficacy by incorporating routine selfauditing by process owners.
- Develop required documentation and conduct companywide training related to audits.
- Collect and consolidate training records to determine gaps and prevent audit findings.
- Coordinate required training based on audit results.
- Support Quality team as a liaison between auditors and auditees.
- Limited travel (<20%) to interface with suppliers for audits from a quality perspective.
- Assist in incoming and outgoing inspections to include QA witnessing.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
:
- Certification or Associate's Degree is preferred.
- 68 years of crossfunctional experience in the following areas: Coordination, Customer Service, Administrative, Planning, and Scheduling.
- Previous auditing experience required.
- Technical background preferred.
- Experience with business systems and database input and extraction.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Able to integrate quickly, communicate well, facilitate/lead; hit the ground running.
- Enjoy working in a growthorientated and highenergy environment.
- Effective communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to details and talents for accuracy and precision.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
