    Senior Accountant

    Position Overview :

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients' finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, managing financial reporting processes, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making

    This role is based around the greater Seattle, WA area and would need to be available for in-office from time to time.

    Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

    · Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.

    · Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.

    · Perform detailed financial analysis and variance explanations to support management decision-making.

    · Manage the year-end audit process, including preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.

    · Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    · Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

    · Assist in special projects and initiatives as required, such as system implementations, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis

    Preferred Qualifications :

    · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    · Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.

    · Thorough understanding of US GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

    · Proficiency in accounting software systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.

    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
