    Irving, Limited, Sawmills Division is currently seeking a Chief Power Engineer to join our leadership team, reporting directly to the Mill Manager.


    Qualifications:

    Education Required:
    Trade Certification or Associate's Degree
    1st Class Power Engineer Certification is required

    Year of Experience Required 7-10 years
    Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
    The ability to supervise and direct the activities of others
    Experience in drying lumber is an asset

    Responsibilities
    Leadership of a team of 12 people, Power Engineers and Loader Operators, in the safe and efficient operation
    Maintenance of 9 lumber dry kilns, 3 boilers, boiler plant auxiliaries and material handling
