    Job Title:
    Process Engineer Level IILocation: Baltimore, MD

    Salary Range:
    $70,000 - $82,000

    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Engineer Level II to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

    This full-time, on-site position is perfect for someone with a high-level degree in chemical engineering (Master's degree minimum) and some hands-on experience in chemical process engineering.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory activities and process optimization, committed to contributing to our engineering operations.


    Responsibilities:
    Design and optimize chemical processes for manufacturing.
    Conduct and analyze experiments to test the efficiency of processes and to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    Collaborate with research and development teams to integrate new products or changes in product design into the manufacturing process.
    Utilize process simulation software to improve the efficiency and safety of chemical processes.
    Prepare reports and documentation detailing the process, test results, and recommendations for process adjustments.
    Troubleshoot issues with the chemical process and make adjustments to equipment and operations as needed.
    Support scale-up of chemical processes from pilot to full-scale manufacturing.

    Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, applying principles of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and increase process efficiency.


    Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.2+ years of experience in a chemical process engineering role.
    Strong understanding of chemical process systems, equipment, and technology.
    Proficient in using process simulation and analysis software.
    Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
