We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team.

As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.

This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing quality care.

Duties:

Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
Document medication administration accurately and timely in medical records
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
Assist with vital sign measurements and record them appropriately
Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
Maintain a clean and organized medication cart or area
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during medication administration

Experience:

Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, or home care settings is preferred
Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Epic is a plus
Knowledge of basic anatomy and medical terminology
Ability to accurately read and interpret medical records
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

Pay:
$ $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
