Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with firm policies utilizing the firm's document management system.
- Format and proofread correspondence, memos, and other legal documents from written and/or dictated attorney drafts.
- Schedule and calendar client meetings, as well as monitor attorney calendars.
- Submit billing and time entries, as well as expense reports.
- Provide support in the preparation of trial materials, exhibits, and binders.
- Other administrative duties, as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Duties and Responsibilities above satisfactorily and meet the requirements below.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Desire to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Highly detailoriented, with a proven ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years Legal Assistant experience in a commercial litigation practice (required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF (required).
- Experience with document management and legal accounting/billing softwares (required). Experience with iManage (preferred).
- Typing minimum of 75 wpm (required).
- Florida Notary (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
- This position reports to work inperson at our Orlando office.
