***: Under the direction of the Assistant Director, assists in planning, organizing, and implementation of development activities. Drafts and sends communications to donors, uses the donor database and software tools for maintenance of operational records and to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. May participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Collaborates with other departments as needed (Programs and Impact, Fiscal Services, etc.)


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS:


  • Utilize Raiser's Edge to create queries, run reports, and export data.
  • Manage, manipulate, and analyze data in excel spreadsheets using pivot tables, formulas, and other tools.
  • Assist the department with database management and other projects that arise.
  • Attend staff training and meetings as requested;
  • May assist with processing incoming correspondence and electronic mail;
  • Provide logístical and administrative support for development events.
  • Perform other duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:


  • A Bachelor's degree plus 12 years relevant practical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
  • Relational Database experience; Raiser's Edge preferred.
  • Experience with O365 platform, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Flexibility, initiative, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Commitment to team orientation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple, and shifting, priorities.
  • Ability to sit for up to 7 hours and keystroke for most of the day. Some walking and stooping. Ability to lift as much as thirty pounds on occasion.
