    TAX ACCOUNTANT

    Job Description:

    As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining tax records, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. You will work closely with our Finance Department, playing a crucial role in the financial health of our organization.

    Responsibilities of Tax Accountant:

    • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax documents.
    • Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
    • Analyze tax regulations and recommend strategies that align with business goals.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
    • Resolve tax-related issues as they arise.
    • Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets.
    • Maintain records for auditing as necessary.
    • Recommend tax strategies to optimize the efficiency of tax liabilities.

    Qualifications of Tax Accountant:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Public Accounting Experience preferred, not required.
    • 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or related field.
    • Proficiency in tax software and databases.
    • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
    • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
