***: We are seeking someone with a strong general mechanical background. This will not be a lot of engine work. It's not a traditional mechanics job. And, because you'd be working on new and newer vehicles, it's not very dirty either.


To manufacture our mobility vehicles, we start with vans, SUVs and crossover vehicles, and cut and fabricate components into the vehicles to accommodate wheelchair usage mobility.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Perform routine general mechanic work and maintenance on installed mobility apparatus, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
  • Cutting and customizing bumpers into multiple pieces to fit the installation of components
  • Installation of mechanical components, including hydraulic pumps, electronics, wiring, and reinstalling of vehicle sensors.
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed on vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in a professional setting
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problemsolving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
