The pharmacy will serve the needs of our rural health clinic as well as our two local residential treatment facilities.     • Pharmacy Technician LOCATION:
    • Elizabethtown, Kentucky QUALIFICATIONS: high school diploma or equivalent
    * registered/certified as a pharmacy technician in Kentucky
    * experience in retail pharmacy
    * ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and squat frequently,

    * ability to lift push or pull a minimum of 40 pounds *RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING: * day-to-day operations of the pharmacy including
    * retrieving, pouring, counting, labeling, and reconstituting prescription medications
    * using the pharmacy's computer system to maintain accurate records
    * ensuring pharmacist has the necessary data to fill orders
    * creating accurate prescription labels
    * providing completed orders to customers
    * collecting monies due from patients
    * obtaining refill authorizations from prescribers
    * processing and preparing third-party insurance claims
    * communicating effectively and courteously with physicians, patients, and third-parties, such as insurers
    * maintaining pharmacy inventory, including checking for outdated medication, and record keeping
    * packaging and labeling products under the supervision of the pharmacist
    * preparing reports related to sales, usage, and inventory
    * maintaining and cleaning equipment, work areas, and shelves
    * crisis intervention, first aid, CPR (*training provided*)*SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
    • Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. BENEFITS: health, dental, and vision insurance
