Required Experience:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch) is required, MS and professional registration are preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Jr. Architectural Designer working within the rail/transit sector.
  • Experience in the transportation sector is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite are required.
  • Experience in Rhino, 3D Max, Sketchup is a plus and LEED Accreditation is also a plus.
  • Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Determine collectively with multiple design disciplines, the technical approach and design criteria for projects.
  • Work with architectural staff under architectural lead in a team.
  • Develop design details, plans and specifications.
  • Use computer software as a design tool for solving complex architectural problems.
  • Contribute new designs, or techniques that are of material significance in the solution of important problems.
  • Remain current in codes and technologies appropriate to the architecture discipline including IBC, NFPA, etc.
  • Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

Compensation Range:
$73, $98,200.00
