Job Summary:

As a Dialysis - Chronic, Renal RN, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients with chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis treatment.

Your role will involve monitoring patients during dialysis sessions, administering medications, educating patients on kidney disease management, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for patients undergoing dialysis treatment
Administering dialysis treatments according to prescribed protocols
Monitoring patients during dialysis sessions for any signs of complications
Educating patients and their families on kidney disease, diet restrictions, and self-care measures
Collaborating with nephrologists, social workers, and dietitians to provide comprehensive care to patients
Documenting patient information and treatment outcomes accurately
Ensuring compliance with dialysis clinic policies and regulations
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Qualifications and Skills:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Certification in nephrology nursing (CNN) preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients with chronic kidney disease
