    Salary Range:
    $169, $219,000.00What's the role?Etsy is seeking a senior level investor relations executive, a strategic and highly visible role as a front-line communicator with the investment community - including coverage by ~30 sell-side analysts and a global investor base. As a core member of our team you will collaborate with the IR team and C-suite to develop and implement the Company's IR strategy and program in order to educate and update investors and equity research analysts about the company to achieve a fair relative stock price.
    This is a full-time position reporting to the Vice President of Investor Relations and ESG Engagement.


    In this role you will:


    Serve as a key spokesperson to the financial community on behalf of Etsy by becoming an expert on all things Etsy - our marketplaces, operations, financials, culture, and impact strategiesServe as an experienced advisor to our C-suite and cross-functional teams on important matters that impact our reputation and valuation Build Etsy's high level investor narrative and messaging, reflecting knowledge of the company, our sector and the macro environment, and feedback we hear from investorsDevelop content for earnings call materials, financial press releases and SEC filings including deep analysis and data interpretation and ability to communicate financial and operational information in a clear and concise wayManage Q&A documents, industry and internal data preparation, presentation development, executive and Board materialsCollaborate on Etsy's investor targeting and engagement program; establish meaningful, long-term relationships with the sell and buy-side and other IR customersContribute to our ESG Disclosure Working group that is responsible for evolving our ESG strategies, narrative and disclosures as a core part of Etsy's integrated external financial reportingCollaborate with Communications team on all corporate announcements (product launches, marketing initiatives, M&A, financings and so on)Help prepare briefing materials for all investor engagementOf course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.

    Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

    Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Finance or Accounting, Business Administration/ManagementMBA, other advanced degree and/ or CFA a plus, but not requiredAt least 7-10 years of professional experience in Investor Relations (corporate or consultancy) highly preferred.

    We also highly value sell or buy-side experience, investment banking or in-house corporate finance experience (FP&A, strategic finance, accounting, corporate and business development).

    The combination of these skills make you a thought leader in investor communications.

    Public company experience from technology /internet /ecommerce/ consumer sectors highly preferredPrior experience working in a dynamic, high growth organizationSuccessful track record of being a highly quantitative and analytical problem solver, able to model, analyze, interpret and communicate complicated trends and performance into compelling business narrative for investors to understandStrong communication skills (written and verbal) - able to write and verbally explain strategic, operational and financial concepts in a clear and concise wayRelationship builder - ability to work well with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, Product, Marketing and more)Trustworthy and dependable - we can count on you to deliver high quality work on timeProactive with a strong attention to detailLocated in the NY metropolitan area - while we have flexible working modes, we are also eager to have someone located close to our HQ for many investor and analyst visitsA trust in and commitment to Etsy's vision, mission and values.
