Colonial Coatings Corporation an experienced leader in anodization, surface sealing, sacrificial coating, and thermal spraying for major manufacturers within the aerospace industry such as: Boeing, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky Aircraft, Rolls Royce, and their global sub-tiers.

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support our Quality Assurance department in implementing, executing, and managing quality requirements.


Experience And Skills:


  • Previous experience in a quality inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inspection activities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, inprocess components, and finished products according to established inspection procedures and specifications.
  • Utilize measuring tools and equipment such as an eddy current
  • Record inspection results
  • Identify and document nonconformances
  • Communicate inspection findings and quality issues to relevant teammembers and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve qualityrelated issues.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
