Cortica is looking for a
Clinical Informaticist to join its growing team


In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of Cortica's electronic medical records systems under general direction from the Lead Clinical Informaticist.

This includes the support of clinical end user's trouble shooting needs, setting up configurations for new forms and order types, helping users navigate systems, addressing technical needs for vendors, and supporting integration requests.

_ What will you do?_

  • Participate in planning, design, development, testing, education, and implementation of the EHR as it pertains to clinical practice.
  • Work with clinicians daily while developing, implementing, and refining clinical processes, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems, such as EHRs and orderentry systems.
  • Be primarily responsible for assessment, scoping, build, implementation, optimization upgrades, system changes and enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance, which can include system testing, troubleshooting, issue management, training, and golives, and maintaining components of the automated EHR.
  • Provide proactive user support of the EHR including, but not limited to, training and education. Assist in the evaluation and development of training and inservice programs.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are developed and updated to reflect the usage of the EHR.
  • Maintain and manage rolebased security for EHR.
  • Implement strong program management practices (change requests, issue management, risk management and decision tracking) and contribute to standard client implementation, methodologies, and management best practices.

_We'd love to hear from you if:_

  • You hold a degree in Nursing, Medical, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; bachelor's degree required.
  • You bring 3+ years of clinical and information technology experience.
  • You possess a solid understanding of clinical practices and federal and state healthcare regulations.
  • You have experience with EHR (electronic health records)/ EMR (electronic medical records) configuration and implementations, user management, orders management, integration testing, template customization, and component management.
  • You have experience with AthenaNet and/or Central Reach EHRs.
  • You possess excellent conceptual, analytical, and problemsolving abilities.
  • You have strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • You have exceptional customer service orientation.

The base pay range for this opening is
$26.54 to
$31.88.

According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
