    POSITION:
    Fort Lupton High School Principal (approx. 750 students, Grades 9-12).


    SALARY RANGE:
    Administrative Salary Schedule plus School District Comprehensive Benefits Package.

    Current salary range of $111,165 - $134,056 for a 215-day work calendar, with additional opportunities for performance pay and tuition reimbursement.

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE

    POSITION:
    M. A. in Educational Administration or related area with Colorado Initial or Professional Principal License.
    Minimum of three years of successful public high school classroom teaching experience.

    Minimum of three years experience as a High School Administrator is preferred; experience as an administrator (at any level) is required.

    Demonstrated school leadership and instructional leadership abilities; led change and managed transitions; kept focus on student achievement; led, implemented, monitored and revised school improvement plans and 90-day plans that aligned with the district improvement plan; communicated and collaborated with district leadership; maintained a focus on school reform that provides rigor, relevance and positive relationship for students.

    Experience in educational leadership with a deep understanding of effective instruction and data analysis. Experience evaluating and coaching instructional and classified personnel; experience establishing and leading Professional Learning Communities.
    Proven community engagement.

    Demonstrated ability and commitment in staff and community relations, supporting and developing/promoting a positive school climate, shared decision-making, site-based management, and school improvement processes that support the district goals and accreditation process; leadership based on data-driven and research-based solutions.

    Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team; goal-oriented.
    Thoroughly grounded in high school education and effective classroom instruction. Prefer experience and training in AVID, (CTE) Career Technical Education, concurrent enrollment and Advance Placement programs.
    Must be willing to support extracurricular activities and athletics.

    Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate rapid improvement cycles and data team discussion protocols school-wide.

    Must be knowledgeable in the area of best first instructional practices and create structures within the building for professional development, practice, monitoring, and feedback to teachers using the district BFI framework.

    Experience working with diverse populations.
    Experience with school finance and budgeting. Must be able to manage building expenses effectively.
    Bilingual/Biliterate skills Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred, but not required.
    Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
