    Description
    This position is expected to devote approximately 25% time served as the Executive Physician to the employed group
    Approximately 75% of time is devoted to providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting
    Define, plan, develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs and systems to guide and attain the goals of UM Shore Regional Medical Center and University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS)
    Serves as a dyad partner with Director of Operations with focus on practitioner relations and performance.
    Establishes clinical practices and performance standards in collaboration with Director of Operations and UM SRMC CMO.
    Lead the vision and evolution of the companys clinical and digital care management offerings as the clinical subject matter expert
    Utilizing market data, consumer research, and patient analytics, spearhead new approaches to effective clinical delivery services, including the introduction of new technology and integrated paths
    Then, execute on cultivating any external partnerships and/or vendor relationships as necessary
    Participate in the strategic planning for UM SRMC clinical and digital care management strategy
    Provide strategic guidance of utilization management and medical policy programs/areas as necessary to support the clinical organization
    Monitor performance of launched clinical programs and support continuous improvement

    Office Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday
    Call is 5 pm-8 am weekdays and 8 am-8 am on weekends for telephonic questions/consults only. Completed US-based residency program in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology
    ~ Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine
    ~MBA or advanced degree in healthcare-related discipline preferred
    ~ Success in building credibility, influence and partnership with key clients
    ~ Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with partners / clients
