A career in our Customs and Trade Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties.

You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps organisations manage indirect tax implications that results in cash flow optimisation and risk reduction.

You'll help with structuring business transactions, developing efficient supply chain models, handling customs and indirect tax disputes, and implementing VAT for new to market organisations.

CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive level knowledge and understanding of US Customs and Border Protection procedures and regulatory framework:

  • Associated documentary requirements;
  • Knowledge of the analysis of client internal control practices; and,
  • Knowledge of valuation of client compliance with import control regulatory requirements.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and/or a proven record of success performing in a role that emphasizes analyzing client internal control practices and evaluating client compliance with import control regulatory requirements, and some knowledge of international trade and US Customs issues, such as:


  • Associated documentary requirements;
  • Knowledge of the analysis of client internal control practices; and,
  • Knowledge of valuation of client compliance with import control regulatory requirements.
  • Harmonized Tariff Classification System;
  • Customs valuation;
  • Preferential trade agreements; and,
  • Duty Drawback.
Demonstrates extensive level experience identifying and addressing client needs:


  • Associated documentary requirements;
  • Knowledge of the analysis of client internal control practices; and,
  • Knowledge of valuation of client compliance with import control regulatory requirements.
