PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for design and maintenance support of
electrical/electronic
systems and modifications for in-house production equipment
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Provides hands on support to the critical path processes being built/documented for new operation
Work with team to develop innovative, thoughtful solutions to systems level problems
Challenges the thinking to ensure Continuous Improvement is part of every process
Uses project management software to build critical path proce4sses, identify dependencies, and keep the project up to date within the software
Schedules, plans jobs, and coordinates raw materials upon plant opening for the early operational phase
Supports upgrades, new products, and material introductions by supporting operations and engineering teams, creates process plans, and tracks project schedules for timely completion of project goals
Supports the development and analysis of factory layout concepts to understand trade-offs
Pulls together internal resources to create teams to solve complex problems
Holds weekly accountability sessions with Centre South Operations Team to ensure timelines are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:
Five years' experience in Manufacturing design, and project management. Must be mechanically oriented, have experience in troubleshooting operational problems, and machinery malfunctions. Proficient in MS Office applications - Word, Outlook, and Excel. Working knowledge of large-scale ERP systems, Auto CAD, and other maintenance planning software. Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Works well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have the ability to read, understand, and communicate to others the meaning of complex documents including legal documents, letters, etc.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide both fractions and decimals, solve equations, read measurements. Use formulas to calculate and analyze data.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with arms and hands.
Must be able to perform these functions for a minimum of 8 hours straight (with a 30-minute meal break any other applicable breaks during the shift) on a regular basis.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
