Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company headquartered in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation of static proof (calculation and design) of aircraft equipment parts, especially in the F2F sector
  • Preparation of necessary approval documents for the customer
  • Conducting and evaluating test series
  • Determining and verifying weight situations

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in static proof (calculation and design)
  • Good knowledge of FEM methods
  • Good knowledge of quality management (problem-solving methods)
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
