Description

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule transportation services for the company's fleet of vehicles
  • Utilize phone systems and transportation management software to efficiently dispatch drivers and track deliveries
  • Monitor and manage fleet operations, including fuel usage, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain transportation records
  • Resolve any issues or delays in delivery by communicating with drivers and customers
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transportation management or dispatching is preferred
  • Familiarity with a transportation management systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively coordinate multiple deliveries and schedules
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and make quick decisions to ensure efficient operations
  • Proficient in data entry and computer skills for accurate record keeping

Pay:
$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
