Description
As an electrician for operational technology, you are the specialist when it comes to electrical power supply. All facilities at the locations of the
KOLB Group require qualified personnel.

You install electrical components and systems properly, regularly maintain them, expand or modernize them, and repair them in case of malfunctions.

This includes installing wiring systems, energy and information lines. You also program, configure, and test systems and safety devices. Finally, you hand over the systems and instruct future users on how to operate them.

The 3.5-year training takes place in the electrical workshop of the respective factories. In addition, training content is also taught at production facilities and safety devices. You will also attend vocational school in Memmingen and Kempten.

The final exam for electricians for operational technology consists of two parts, with the first part being taken after two years.

The second part is taken at the end of the training. After completing the training, you can pursue further education and become an industrial foreman or technician.
