    Edgewater Technical Associates

    is seeking qualified candidates for

    a Structural Engineer

    opportunity to support an

    Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.


    Work Location:
    Houston, TX

    Structural Engineer-


    The Structural Engineer will develop, implement, monitor, and ensure compliance with Civil/Structural engineering procedures, practices, tools, and methodologies related to capital project development and execution and related areas.

    Responsibilities


    Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects.

    Provide technical direction to assigned engineers.
    Conduct construction document reviews.

    Review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.


    Education:
    Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.


    Experience:


    A minimum of ten (10) years' experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.

    Proficient in computer-aided drafting applications.
    Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities.
    Proficient in computer-aided drafting applications.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Nuclear or Chemical experience
    Professional Engineer (P.E) License


    Other Job Requirements:
    Must Be US Citizen
    Working knowledge of Federal (including DOE Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
