    Description
    Our team is looking for a high performing Business Engineering Manager leading full-stack development with an entrepreneurial mindset.

    As a Business Engineering Manager, you will lead the advertising industry by building new solutions and enabling partners to realize the full potential of those solutions while also leading and managing a team of Business Engineers.

    This is a hands-on role where you balance writing production-grade code for Meta Ads products, cross-functional leadership, and people management.

    This role will allow you to apply problem solving, leading, and consulting clients on creating and executing an ad-tech strategy, leading a team of Engineers, and growing their careers.


    Meta's Solutions Engineering team is formed of creative problem solvers and strategic software engineers who collaborate with clients to understand their challenges and architect solutions.

    We are at the cross function of business and engineering helping Meta's marketing and advertising partners succeed and reach their business goals with Meta products, by finding technological solutions to meet their needs.

    We are passionate about working closely with our external clients and partners across many industries — travel, retail, e-commerce, gaming, financial services, automotive, entertainment and beyond.

    Business Engineering Manager ResponsibilitiesScale the team by attracting and mentoring people at various levels of experience to grow an inclusive, high performing team around business/team needsCommunicate across functions, influence the roadmap and product developmentUnderstand advertisers' business challenges to define and drive strategies to help businesses grow at scaleBring unique insights from industry, verticals and audience segments to fill a void that exists in our platformHelp clients, partners to be successful on the platform through consulting or building scaled solutionsManage team performance, including coaching for career growth, and create a healthy team environmentEffectively communicate team goals, seek out information needed for the team to be impactful and provide resources required to achieve goals while removing roadblocks along the waySet clear expectations for all team members, hold them accountable to agreed upon goals, and provide guidance on it maps to their workDesign and build extensible systems and improve current frameworks that support future projects, including:

    designing sophisticated launch-plan strategies and shipping production level code focused on long term maintainabilityConduct Code reviews and provide thoughtful, meaningful, and constructive feedbackWillingness to travel 25% of the timeMinimum Qualifications10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineersB.S.

    or M.S.

    in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experienceExperience with designing, building, and iterating on scalable software platforms applications and taking products from a nascent state to a level of maturityExperience building consensus within large cross-functional organizationsExperience proactively identifying and executing organizational, product improvements across several teamsExperience in translating technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leadersStart preparingLearn about how to prepare for your interview with our interview guide, tips, and interactive experiences.
