Key Responsibilities:


  • New Hire processing, orientation and onboarding, and benefits enrollment
  • Weekly payroll processing and related reporting
  • Weekly, monthly and yearly headcount reporting, including EEO
  • Maintenance and management of all Human Resources files including I9's, medical, payroll and personnel files, termination files, temporary employee records, applicant files and other paper and electronic HR records
  • Leave of absence administration including FMLA, CT Paid FMLA and short and long term disability processing and tracking
  • Maintenance of various HR data and employeerelated tracking spreadsheets
  • Tshirt and safety glasses inventory and restocking
  • Involvement in employee incentives and perks such as ordering gift cards or prizes, managing the Employee of the Month program, and assisting in the organization of events, activities and programs
  • Recruiting support including conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews
  • Employment verifications
  • Employee assistance on certain day to day issues or questions
  • Other administrative and HR project support as needed

Qualifications:


  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to develop strong relationships
  • Must be detail focused, resourceful, highly organized, and have welldeveloped time management skills
  • Should be analytical with the ability to understand details, as well as the big picture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to master inhouse programs and software quickly is required.
  • Previous experience with payroll and HRIS systems is a plus.
