- Lead Software Engineer - Governance

- Enhance productivity for scientists, engineers, and decision-makers through a modern data experience
- Create advanced AI/ML and data analysis environments to boost predictive capabilities and attract top talent
- Engineer data at a large scale to unleash the value of our collective data assets and real-time predictions
- Creating scalable and dependable governance solutions using a blend of existing technologies and open-source tools
- Contributing to an automated policy engine that interfaces with current authorization systems, leveraging policy as code, cloud-native technologies like GCP, and integration with other frameworks
- Facilitating governance through user-friendly products utilizing computational and automatable engines, linking with existing data platforms and pipelines, metadata, and authorization systems
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to grasp business needs and convert them into scalable governance solutions
- Following standard agile development processes such as SDLC for development management, CI/CD, and automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Desirable experience with additional programming languages
- Experience with Cloud platforms, preferably GCP, but Azure or AWS is acceptable
- Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible
- Prior exposure to regulated industries and working within compliance guidelines
- Understanding of computational data governance, data security, and industry best practices
- Required: Bachelor's Degree +6 years of relevant experience, Master's Degree +4 years of relevant experience, or PHD +2 years of relevant experience
