- Administering and/or facilitating screenings
- Assessing situations involving students' safety, abuse (physical, sexual, drug) and other health related issues for the purpose of identifying problems, referring for proper treatment and complying with legal requirements.
- Administering first aid, medication, and specialized medical treatment
- Developing health care plans
- Maintaining students' confidential files and records
- Collaborating with parents, students, health care providers, and/or other agencies for the purpose of promoting needed treatment, securing information and complying with legal requirements.
- LPN - $ $21.08 per hour dependent upon previous experience.
- RN - $41,670 - $49,800 per year dependent upon previous experience.
- 186 work days and 8 paid holidays
- District paid employee medical, dental, and life insurance (with option to purchase coverage for spouse, children, or family).
- Employee option to purchase voluntary benefits including vision insurance, short term disability, long term disability and other supplemental insurance policies.
- 10 days paid leave per year.

The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of School Nurse at Bridle Ridge Elementary School for the school year.
The job of school nurse is done for the purpose/s of meeting the individual health needs of students; incorporating health care plans; complying with the laws; providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students; providing health information and serving as a resource to teachers, staff, and administrators; and identifying health problems.
