Responsibilities:


  • Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
  • Encourage the development of students' critical thinking skills
  • Prepare any necessary learning materials
  • Assist with creating props
  • Assist with creating art displays
  • Document students' learning progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
  • Work with students for presentations/live performances

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher and state teaching certification is a plus that is not necessary
  • Previous experience teaching at the k12 level is preferred
  • Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  • Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass TB test
