    Job Description

    Job DescriptionAt Victorum Learning Center, the staff act as pieces of a puzzle. Each piece presents unique angles and portions of the overall picture and are critical to the continuation of the mission. The English/Spanish Bilingual Lead Teacher serves primarily as a vital part of the teaching team and is responsible for the completion of classroom-level duties & responsibilities. The English/Spanish Bilingual Lead Teacher delivers content in English and Spanish, helping students develop and strengthen their skills in both. This can prove instrumental in preventing English language learners from falling behind in their general education. The English/Spanish Bilingual Lead Teacher handles all the duties and responsibilities of a typical Lead Teacher, including creating lesson plans, leading class activities, completing assessments, as well as custodial support. The English/Spanish Bilingual Lead Teacher also meets with students' parents, who may have limited or no English proficiency. The Lead Teacher is an important position, requiring connections with students & families that extend beyond the classroom.


    MinimumQualifications & Skills
    Fluent in English & Spanish Language
    High School Diploma or GED
    Level 2 OCCRRA CPL
    Flexible Availability
    Ability to Lift up to 35lbs Repeatedly (Depending on Assigned Age Group)
    Basic MS Office Knowledge/Ability
    Positive Attitude
    Excellent Verbal Communication
    Excellent Written Communication
    Loving & Caring Disposition

    Responsibilities & Duties
    Complete Required Training as Necessary
    Communication with Administration, Faculty, & Parents
    Perform Functions of Lead Teacher (Classroom Management, Education, Supervision)
    Cleaning & Sanitizing of VLC Assets
    Hygienic Needs of Students
    Support Daily Routines & Structures
    Completion of Weekly Lesson Plans
    Documentation of Portfolios/TSG
