As a Chef de Rang (m/f/d) on board one of the world's largest cruise companies, you will embark on a new adventure.

You will take care of your guests with passion and fun, out at sea.


Your mission:

  • Responsibility for smooth operations in the service area, including administrative tasks (bookings in the cash system, etc.) in collaboration with the Maitre d'hotel, Headwaiter, and Senior Restaurant Steward
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest care, and etiquette
  • Knowledge of table settings, service equipment, and menu items
  • Attentive and personalized service to fulfill guest requests
  • Full knowledge of menus to answer questions about ingredients
  • Efficient handling of guest complaints, including reporting them to management
  • In special cases, flexible deployment in other service areas

Your talents on board:

  • Qualified training in the hotel industry or gastronomy
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in service
  • Very good product and service knowledge


  • Good computer skills

  • Rescom / comparable cash software
  • Good German and English skills (spoken and written)
  • Very good general education
  • High willingness to serve guests and crew members
  • Friendly manners and warmth
  • STCW safety certificate ideally available
