Purpose/Introduction:
The Commercial Organization plays a key role in developing and executing CPChem's strategy and business plans.
Commercial coordinates with Manufacturing and Technology to develop optimal sales and operating plans, grow our asset capabilities and plan for the future.
They identify and evaluate business opportunities, execute the supply chain, build customer and supplier relationships and work to continuously improve our offerings to provide increased value for our customers and shareholders.
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Customer & Logistics Account Coordinator for our NAO/PAO Customer Service and Distribution Team located in The Woodlands,
TX.**
Responsibilities:
- Manage production levels and scheduling commitments using Excel
- Assist with staging product for vessels and barge movements
- Managing orders from order placement, receipt of product, invoicing and account settlement
- Liaise with plant personnel, storage terminals, tolling partners, rail logistics and trucking companies to coordinate deliveries
- Utilizing SAP (SD) systems from order creation to invoicing
- Completing outstanding orders/inventory balances during monthend closing
- Foster supplier, vendor and customer relationships
- Manage inventory and reconciliation for 3rd party terminals
- Investigating, analyzing and resolving problems
- Position will require some accessibility outside of normal business hours
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- SAP experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Transaction and order entry processing accuracy
- Must be able to work after hours
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced work environment
- Petrochemical Customer Service or logistics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with marine/barge nominations
