    Salary Range: $30.00 - $38.50

    Pay Info: Sign On Bonus: $15,000/2 year or $20,000/3 year commitment

    Department Details

    This role involves 72-80 hours per pay period with rotating shifts including Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends. Night and Weekend differentials included with no on-call requirement. During the orientation period, you will experience working in different areas such as NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU, with opportunities for specialization in areas like Tobacco Education, Pulmonary Function, and Transport. Join our team-oriented environment at a Level II Trauma Center that supports skill development and offers certification reimbursements, welcoming new graduates.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a caring, patient-focused Respiratory Therapist to provide top-notch care to our patients. Our Respiratory Therapists utilize cutting-edge equipment, training, and resources to assess and treat lung and airway conditions. Whether you prefer a variety of patient care settings or specialize in specific areas such as Neonatal, Home Care, Pediatric, ECMO, Transport, or Disease Management, we aim to align Respiratory Therapy opportunities with your interests and skills. Our focus on career development includes hands-on experience, involvement in protocols, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams to support your professional growth.

    Responsibilities
    • Assess patients to manage diseases and complications.
    • Evaluate lung capacity and oxygen levels.
    • Analyze blood and gas levels.
    • Administer therapeutic interventions for cardiopulmonary health.
    • Offer diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
    • Provide education on self-care and pulmonary health.

    Qualifications

    A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program is required, including a minimum associate degree or equivalent recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Respiratory Therapists must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of procedures, contraindications, and equipment in respiratory care. Current state licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials from NBRC are essential, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and specialty credentials as needed.
