    Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist at Quarterhill

    Job Description:
    Quarterhill is a publicly traded company on the TSX(QHTR) focused on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). We have two established brands - Electronic Transaction Consultants and International Road Dynamics, delivering integrated solutions for transportation challenges. We are seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, managing the recruitment process, and helping shape the company's success through talent acquisition strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Review hiring needs and strategies with the Talent Acquisition team
    • Develop effective recruitment strategies with hiring managers
    • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using various tools
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment process
    • Build a strong candidate network
    • Coordinate interviews and recruitment activities
    • Enhance recruitment processes and efficiency
    • Recommend campus recruitment strategies
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

    Experience and Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
    • 5+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
    • Tech industry experience preferred
    • HR certifications are a plus
    • Knowledge of recruitment best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects
    • Proficiency in recruitment software
    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Proactive problem-solving approach
