Location:
Special Education Pre-K in Central Office Administration


Pre-K Special Education Evaluation Team Education Coordinator (up to 3 positions)**
Program Dates: July 1, August 23, 2024

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 2:30 pm [_Note: No work July 4th - Holiday_]

  • Begin scheduling the State Pre-K calendar
  • Registrations for State Pre-K
  • Plan year and complete deliverables
  • Get documents printed and disseminated
  • And work on all other State Pre-K programmatic improvements and needs with the Pre-K Manager and Principal
  • Work on deliverables for State Pre-K classroom at Pleasant View, Harry Kizirian and Cornel Young & Charlotte Woods Elementary Schools

Contingent upon enrollment and funding [_c_

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • State training on State Pre-K deliverables
  • Trained by RIDE in utilizing and entering data properly the ECEDS system
  • Thorough knowledge of the ECEC approval process and RIDE Requirements

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CURRICULAR LINKAGES:

RIDE Requirements

  • Early Childhood Certification PK
  • Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Program level certificate

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS:


  • Update RIDE State Pre-K deliverables
  • Register children from lottery and manage waitlist
  • Plan schedule
  • Create accurate program selfassessment plan
  • Follow up on playground improvements
  • IPDP's need to be done and uploaded to E=CEDS
  • Create and upload transition plans
