    FP&A AnalystASU Enterprise Partners is an efficient network of highly skilled teams; it is comprised of a full complement of professional services that work in concert with specialized business units to provide full resources and extend Arizona State University's ability to achieve its charter.

    The FP&A Analyst is responsible for reporting and analytics and will assist in and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of strategic financial planning tools and solutions that support data-aligned business decisions.

    The FP&A Analyst works closely with other members of the Business Planning team and partners with business units across the organization on projects relating to strategic planning.

    What You'll DoProvides analysis and support for ongoing financial management and future business development activitiesMaintains data and executes adjustments in the planning system; ensures data integrityLiaises and collaborates with members of the Business Planning and Finance teams to ensure consistency between financial data, annual budget, forecast, and long-range financial planningAssists in the design, testing, and training related to ongoing enhancements of reports and analytics toolsAssists, supports, and collaborates with team members in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of forecasting models, including the creation of new models and integration of new tools as per business requirementsAssists in maintaining and updating the long-range planning systemEngages in and supports ad-hoc analyses and special projectsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedStrong Microsoft Excel skills (including tables, charts, pivot tables and complex modeling)Excellent analytical skills for interpretation of financial and related management information, along with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyKnowledge and understanding of financial information systems including relational databases, enterprise planning technologies, and business analytics toolsKnowledge of accounting and accounting principles sufficient to assist in the preparation of financial and budgetary analysesAbility to take initiative and set priorities, while being flexibleTeam-oriented strategist able to effectively manage complex situations involving numerous and sometimes competing constituenciesHighly organized and able to juggle multiple projects and competing demandsStrong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phoneAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners, its subsidiaries and University business and confidential prospect informationRelevant QualificationsBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related fieldAt least one (1) year of experience as a financial planning analyst or comparable background/experiencePreferred Education And ExperienceTwo (2) to three (3) years of experience as a financial planning analystBenefitsHybrid work schedule.
